Day 16 + bonus pics by Erynn

I made 3 loaves of bread today the last one is still cooking. they are mini whole wheat loaves they look like huge potatoes lol. The 2nd two pics are done by my daughter Erynn, she and her sisters made a snowman they had no snowman supplies, so they use a baseball bat & golf club for arms, plastic fake food for eyes and such. and a big cone head.. ADORABLE!

Days 14 & 15

My mom got the girls some pop-up books that are the best I have ever seen. If I where a little girl I would of LOVED something like this, the 2nd pic is these funky retro looking shelves that my husband hung last night for me. I put a baby food jar on to show how small some of the spaces are I don't know what I will use it for but it looks kinda cool empty. If we did have a need for baby food it would be neat looking.

Got a little behind in my updating. It's really hard to break away from the family on the weekends and so many mini projects so far this week.

Aria lost yet another tooth, missing all 4 on top.

Erynn in showing just how long the icicles are on the side of the house.

Cady showing us that babies can use the Wii Fit too!

And lastly homemade granola that Morgan and I made today.. I have a great recipe I adapted for this I will share soon on my cooking blog.

Day 8

Another 2 photo day. I snapped a quick shot of Morgan because I didn't have one of her in the project yet. After taking the pic I seen 3 of the girls sitting on top of my great grandmothers hope chest and it was to cute to not snap another pic. The girls have a snow day today so we are going to try to make some snowmen later so maybe that will be tomorrows pic.

Day 6

Well this was an adventure! Today we learned that, whole wheat flour can not be used to make pie crust, you need whole wheat pastry flour. When you have no white flour or whole wheat pastry flour call out to God "Lord this child really wants a pop tart" and then you find a box of Jiffy pie crust in the pantry that you are quite certain you have never seen before. The end result is homemade pop tarts. A fellow online friend shared the recipe but I found its very easily adaptable to what you have on hand.. so with out further adieu I present to you home made strawberry pop-tarts. And yes because of the effort and such I took 2 pics.
